Halloween

It has been an interesting weekend for Halloween. It has been unseasonably warm and Hudson was extremely sick yesterday. We were very close to taking him to the ER. He had diarrhea and was running a fever of 104.4. That is the highest either of my children have ever had. Luckily Mortin brought it down by evening. He was much better today. Hayden has been able to wear his costume 4 times this Halloween. We went to Trunk or Treat at our church. He got to wear it to school on Friday, and we went to our zoo's "Spooktacular" earlier this week. Tonight Hayden filled his whole bucket of candy and was on cloud nine

There are new houses going up in our neighborhood a couple of streets away, so at night when the workers are gone, Hayden and I head over and he gets on all their construction things. I am sure they would appreciate it!

Here is Hayden the Buccaneer before we headed to trunk or treat at church.

Here Hayden and I are at the Spooktacular at the Zoo. He loved the train. We went with our friends Kim and Luke.

Here Hayden is driving the Fred Flinestone car.

Indian Summer in October???

The last few weekends have been so beautiful here. Its been nice to be able to have the kids outside and not be too hot or too cold. I hope it sticks around for Halloween. We have two birthday parties next weekend along with a fall festival at church. All this will be done without Steve. He is pumped to be heading to the MU/OU game in Columbia with a buddy.

Fall at Rutledge Wilson

Hayden, Hudson and I headed out to Rutledge Wilson Farm today with Luke and Kim. We all had a blast going on hayrides, picking out pumpkins, riding on mini tractors, and playing on the playgroud. The fall weather has been so beautiful this year. Hudson is finally feeling better and I think the ear infections are finally gone, although my doctor has gone ahead and referred us to the ENT. We see Dr. Snow in early Nov. to see if Hudson needs tubes.

This and That

Below are more pictures from Hayden's birthday....it seemed like it kept going and going since we celbrated it multiple times on multiple dates. Hudson has been down and out with ear infections for over a month now. He has been on 4 different antibiotics since Sept. 1. We go back today to see if its finally gone. If its not, then I am requesting an ENT referral to look into tubes.

Hayden is so into any kind of tractor that has a trailer to hook things onto.

We got him his first bike with training wheels and of course a helmet.

Sherrill and Shawn came down to celebrate Hyaden's birthday and got him a water table. Hudson loves it too.

Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Travis got Hayden a new mini rocking chair to use while he wathces tv. He loves it.
